Hayden Homes – First Story Golf Tournament Fundraiser

Northwestern Home Loans is a proud sponsor of Hayden Homes First Story. Hayden Homes began with the belief that to build a strong home, you must also build a strong community. First Story was created with the same core values and expressed this by helping deserving families in need achieve the dream of home ownership.

Each year supporters of First Story come together for a first class golf tournament event to celebrate, network, and raise money for First Story. The 2015 event raised over $150,000 helping advance First Story’s affordable housing efforts in Central Oregon and beyond.

Veteran’s Day Parade 2015

In 2015, Northwestern Home Loans was honored to participate in the Downtown Bend Veteran’s Day Parade. Matt Bassitt and David Jones, both veterans, climbed aboard our 1990 military cargo truck, along with co-workers, family and friends, and drove through the streets of downtown Bend to honor those who have served and continue to serve our country.

“Veteran’s Day is a celebration to honor America’s veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good”. – U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs
